Thank you to everyone who has applied to join the Glasgow Ice Centre board so far. To mark Trustees’ Week (9 to 13 November), we’re extending the closing date for trustee applications to Friday 13 November 2026.
Glasgow has been without a dedicated ice centre since Braehead’s curling rink closed in 2019, and we’re working to change that. We’re looking for at least two new trustees to help us refresh our feasibility study and business case and take the next steps. The role takes about two hours a week, plus quarterly board meetings. You don’t need to skate or curl, just bring your skills, energy and belief in community sport.
