Following the fantastic success of Scotland’s Men’s Team Mouat is no easy feat – entering the Calgary bubble at the end of March; Bruce, Grant, Bobby and Hammy went straight into the World Men’s Curling Championship and came out having won a guaranteed Olympic place for Team GB and some fabulous silver medals – only narrowly missing out on Gold. The medal-winning men went straight into back to back Grand Slam of Curling events – The Champion’s Cup and The Players Championship – and triumphed – winning both Trophies and the top prize money. Go Team Scotland!
Eve Muirhead and her team – Vicky Wright, Jennifer Dodds and Lauren Gray with their alternate Sophie Sinclair are now just hours away from competing against the world’s best curlers to earn Team GB a spot in Beijing and give it their all for gold.
If you’re a Scottish Curling member, you can sign up to one or all of the Curl Up events – a live or delayed stream of Team Scotland’s matches watched with a group of others sharing the highs and lows of each end of curling. It’s free for members – click here
