GIC needs YOU!

As we get closer to receiving the outcome of the independent IPW Feasibility Study, the Glasgow Ice Centre Project Team needs to make sure that there are clear and active communication channels with all potential ice users.

For this project to succeed we need to be certain that we have the support of the majority of our grassroots users.

We want to establish a balanced group representing the diverse interests of the ice sports communities of skating, curling and hockey.

We are therefore looking for volunteers to become active in providing a voice for their group – whether that is a Club or a discipline, any ability or age group – you can provide valuable input to the project on issues and concerns. You will also have a role in sharing information from the project that is important to your group and help to clarify any misinformation and rumour regarding scope, risks and approach.

Are you interested?

Would you be comfortable liasing with small groups to hear their views on what success will look like to them and feed it back to us?
Do you have suggestions on how we can improve communication?

We want to establish groups of people who will meet to share feedback and learn more about the project.
Meetings may initially be every two weeks and will be by video conference.
Other communication will be via WhatsApp for speed and to avoid anyone missing out.
